Before the first brick
Two companies in the group do no building at all. They measure what is there, model what is intended, and show it to you before it exists.
Shayona Management Services Private Limited (SMSPL) was established in 2012 and trades as Shayona Tech. It handles survey and digital modelling. BIMAGE Consulting India was incorporated on 11 June 2020 and builds and manages the information models themselves.
A terrestrial laser scanner — a FARO Focus — records a site or a standing structure as several million measured points. What comes back is not a drawing of the building; it is the building, measured. Every dimension taken from it afterwards is a measurement rather than an estimate.
A BIM model is not a three-dimensional drawing either. Every wall and beam in it carries its dimensions, materials and cost, so the model can be asked questions rather than only looked at — how much of this, arriving when, colliding with what.
A scanner does not care what it is pointed at. The same equipment that sets out a housing plot records a temple that has stood for centuries, to the same millimetre.
The group did the BIM planning work for the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. That is the whole of what is claimed here: no client is named anywhere in this division, and nothing on this page is a photograph of a building the group put up.

A building is measured before it is drawn
A diagram in three stages: a scattered cloud of scanned points gathers into the shape of four buildings, the points resolve onto a drawn wireframe with floor plates, and the wireframe fills into solid massing above a ground line.

LiDAR
A scanner records a site or a standing structure to millimetre accuracy. What comes back is measured, not drawn.
Drone survey
Aerial mapping of ground the scanner cannot reach — large sites, roofs, terrain.
BIM
The model as a database rather than a picture. Every wall and beam carries its dimensions, materials and cost.
Augmented reality
The model placed back onto the real site, so a floor can be walked before it is poured.
